Family Planning and Contraception Advice - available by appointment during surgery hours with any of the doctors. For emergency contraception speak to your doctor in the surgery or telephone as directed by the receptionist.

Minor Surgical Procedures

Antenatal – Wednesdays 09.30 –11.30.

We offer antenatal care in co-operation with the local maternity units. Due to the distances involved, we are unable to undertake care of patients in labour, and we advise that all confinements take place in the specialist hospital units, in the interest of both the mother and baby. Following the birth of your baby you will be sent a reminder for your post natal, it is important that you attend. 

Clinics for Asthma / Diabetes/ Heart Disease / Stroke / Mental Health / Epilepsy & Other Chronic Diseases – Regular review

Child Health Clinics – 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th Thursday of the Month – 14:00 – 15:30.

We consider your child’s health to be extremely important and advice is always available at any surgery and at the Child Health Clinic. You can also contact the Health Visitor 09.00 to 17.00 if you have any concerns. We would encourage parents to have their children fully immunised against serious childhood illnesses. Parents will be notified when immunisations are due.

Treatment Room - 09.00 - 11.30 and 14.00 – 17.00 (appointment required), no service on Wednesday or Thursday afternoon, or from 14.00 – 15.30 on 1st, 2nd 3rd & 4th Fridays of each month (due to baby clinic).

Well-Woman – Thursday 09.15 – 12.15.
